Currently, Uganda is one of those very few developing countries that have come up to improve their health conditions especially through the control of HIV/AIDS epidemic that has strongly hit the nation's population ever since 1982 when the first victims were diagonised in the region. BUSODA is among the local Non-Governmental Organizations that have contributed to this campaign through prevention campaigns to communities and providing funding support to the HIV/AIDS orphaned and other vulnerable children who have been left helpless and have been exposed to cases of;

• Immorality ie drug abuse/addiction, prostitution, rape & defilement etc
• Child labour
• Early marriages
• Denial for educational rights etc
  
  

Therefore the organization has been running it's operation on minor financial aid from the local communities, volunteers and well wishers.
